In 2023, the Department of International and Comparative Politics (ICP) signed the exchange agreement with the Political Science Department of the Universite Catholique de l鈥橭uest (Catholic University of West 鈥� UCO) in France.

听 听 听 On the 10th and 11th of April, the Liberal Arts and Sciences department at AUCA hosted a presentation showcasing the moderation of their concentrations. The moderation process in the LAS Department is a liberal arts methodology that helps students discover their interests in their first year freely and after choosing their future profession in their second year.

On April 20, 2024, students from American Universities of Nigeria, Myanmar, Afghanistan, and Central Asia met via Zoom to discuss the topic devoted to Social Media as a Weapon of Destruction. The 10th Virtual Inter-University Discussion was conducted within the framework of the Civic Engagement Project called Crossing Borders Through Social Media and Dialogue, initiated by Professor Ekaterina Galimova (AUCA) and Professor Emilienne Akpan (AUN) in 2019.

On April 12th, the AUCA Library, in collaboration with the Liberal Arts and Sciences department and the President's Office, hosted a significant event: the presentation of Dr. James Plumtree's latest work, "袦袗袧袗小" 协袩袨小校袧袗 孝袠楔袝袥耶耶 袠袟袠袥袛莹莹袥莹袪袚莹 袞袗尧蝎效袗 袠袥袠袦袠袡 小袝袪袝袩 (1856-2018)".

Akylbek Abdurakhmanov is one of the distinguished second-year MA students in the Anthropology and International Development Program.

On March 18-31, 2024, AUCA Librarian Tolgonai Kozhokanova visited the American University of Bulgaria (AUBG) as part of the OSUN Staff Mobility Fellowship. The program provided invaluable opportunities for professional exchange and collaboration.

On April 9, AUCA together with the U.S. Embassy in Bishkek and Spirit of America celebrated the extension of a partnership between AUCA and SoA aimed at supporting Afghan students.

The Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences is one of the most unique in AUCA. He offers his students a specialization in one of seven concentrations, combining theoretical and practical classes.
