AUCA Sustainability Week will be fromMarch 27th till March 31st.As part of this week's activities will be conducted Climate Fresk Workshop, Regenerative Practices Workshop, Recycling Workshop, #Make Climate a Class, and videos from the OSUN network on Climate Change will be displayed every day during lunchtime on the forum
Climate Fresk Workshop
March 28th, CH-room, 12 pm- 3 pm.
In order to take action and build solutions, we first need to understand the problem.is a powerful tool for providing quality climate education. In just 3 hours, the collaborative Climate Fresk workshop will teach you the fundamental science behind climate change and empower you to take action.Climate Fresk prompts participants to take constructive action to help tackle climate change.
Certificateswill be provided, upon participation. Coffe-break is included. Please, spots are limited, hurry up!
Make Climate a Class. March-April. AUCA Faculty
As part of the WorldWide Teach-In on Climate and Justice, be part of the#MakeClimateAClassfor 30 minutes in ALL your classrooms in March or April, from your disciplinary perspective.with your intent to participate! Already 50 AUCA faculty have signed up!
AUCA Sustainability LogoDesignContest among students.
We would like to announce the contest among the students for the development of the “Sustainable AUCA” logo. The owner of the most creative design will receive a PRIZE, and their logo will become the official logo of the “Sustainable AUCA”!

Regenerative Practices Workshop. March 25th
Another exciting event offered as part of the World Wide Teach-In on Climate and Justice and supported by OSUN is 'Regenerative Practices: Principles of Permaculture for Climate Solve Efforts’ 5-hour event on the 25th of March. Conceived and developed by Associate Professor Olga Tarabashkina (co-chair of the Sustainability Task Force), it is going to introduce you to the basics of careful and scientific land management and work with the resources of our country. The language of the event is Russian because the principal experts are from Kyrgyzstan. Certificates will be provided by Bard, upon participation. Lunch break and networking are included. Please, spots are limited, hurry up! It is going to impress you! The program will be sent to those who register.
