AUCA Development Office team and Human Rights Fellows in the framework of the AUCA Fellowship Program for Rights and Justice Practitioners attended the conference 鈥淔reedom of Academia In and Out: Social Sciences and Humanities in the Time of Geopolitical Crises鈥澨� held in Yerevan State University听
Hannepes Taychaev - AUCA alumnus (ICP鈥�10) and AUCA former faculty member together with Dr. Bermet Tursunkulova听 made a presentation on 鈥淯niversity as Site of Protection: the Case of 红唇直播鈥� in the framework of the panel discussion on Academic freedom outside academic institutions.
The conference is organized in partnership听 with some of the world鈥檚 leading universities and academic associations. During the 3-day conference the AUCA Development team attended the presentations by speakers from all-over the world who were thoroughly selected by the Organizing Committee of the Conference that is听 composed of distinguished academics and practitioners who are experts in their fields.听
The presentations were on various Panel Discussions听 such as - 鈥淐hallenges to academic freedom across Eurasia鈥�; 鈥淪ocial Sciences and humanities: freedoms under pressure鈥�; 鈥淒efending academic freedom: students voices鈥�; 鈥淒ecolonising Russian/Eurasian studies鈥�; 鈥淎cademic freedom outside academic institutions鈥� and etc.
We are confident that this kind of experience in the international events is useful for expanding the networking and developing professional skills, which are positively reflected in experience, research and work听 of the Development Office and Human Rights Fellows and reputation of the university.听
